Job Description
SitePro Solutions is seeking experienced Cable Technicians for a local structured cabling position in Huntsville! (Multiple openings available.)
This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with an established telecommunications and structured cabling company! In this position, you will use your skills and experience to communicate clearly with coworkers, including fellow techs, Project Managers, and Superintendents, while performing the duties of a low-voltage cable installer. (Copper and fiber experience will be useful for this particular role.)
On-the-job duties include:
- Pulling and routing low-voltage cabling (CAT 5/6, coaxial, fiber).
- Terminating cable and distribution frames (66 or 110 blocks, patch panels).
- Installing support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks).
- OSP confined space work.
- Troubleshooting cable infrastructure on commercial or industrial projects.
With this position, you can expect:
- Competitive pay between $24 - $28/hr, depending on experience.* (Paid weekly!)
- Dependable, full-time hours (40hrs/wk + overtime available as needed).
- Eligibility to enroll in benefits after just 30 days of full-time work (including 401k with company match!)
- 24/7 on-call support from a single point of contact.
Qualifications for this position include:
- 2+ years of structured cabling and telecommunications installation or commercial experience required.
- Knowledge of universal color codes.
- Personal tools and basic PPE.
- Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA or NEC standards is a plus.
