Job Description
SitePro Solutions is seeking an experienced commercial construction Safety Coordinator for a full-time position in Phoenix!
As a Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for monitoring safety programs and performing frequent audits of all work areas to ensure the highest possible degree of safety for employees. Your work is conducted in both indoor office settings and outdoor, construction job site settings.
Additional day-to-day duties include:
- Identifying company safety training needs and coordinating safety training programs.
- Preparing professional reports, conducting safety briefings, and serving as company spokesperson for all safety issues.
- Researching and answering safety-related questions and concerns.
- Auditing job sites to ensure compliance with company programs and federal/state occupational safety and health regulations.
- Performing comprehensive, in-depth investigations of all injury and loss incidents, identifying all casual factors, and developing and implementing measures to prevent recurrence.
- Resolving safety issues and providing emergency response as needed.
With this position, you can expect:
- Competitive weekly pay between $34 - $40/hr, depending on experience.
- Reliable FT hours: M-F, 5:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
- Eligibility to enroll in benefits after just 30 days of full-time work (including 401k with company match!)
- 24/7 on-call support from a single point of contact.
Qualifications for this position include:
- 2+ years of experience in construction safety or related field.
- Experience with inspections, incident investigations, process safety, contractor safety, safety training, hazard reviews, and job safety analysis.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety laws as they pertain to the work site.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- CHST, OHST, or CESCP certifications preferred.
- College degree in Occupational Health and Safety a plus.
