Job Description


SitePro Solutions is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Project Lead to oversee low voltage installation and commissioning activities on a large-scale data center construction project in Haskell, TX. This role is responsible for leading field crews, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring low voltage systems — including structured cabling, fire alarm, access control, CCTV, and building automation/monitoring systems — are installed to specification, on schedule, and in full compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate brings extensive hands-on experience in mission-critical or data center environments and strong leadership skills to drive field execution from rough-in through final commissioning. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead and supervise low voltage field crews and subcontractors on-site, assigning daily tasks and monitoring productivity, quality, and safety compliance. 

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate low voltage scopes of work — including structured cabling, fiber optic backbone, fire alarm, access control, CCTV/security, and BMS/EPMS integration — in alignment with the overall project schedule. 

  • Read and interpret construction drawings, low voltage riser diagrams, and specifications; identify conflicts and coordinate resolutions with the Superintendent, engineers, and other trades. 

  • Serve as the primary field point of contact for low voltage scope, coordinating closely with the Superintendent, General Contractor, and client representatives. 

  • Oversee material takeoffs, ordering, and on-site inventory/logistics to keep crews productive and on schedule. 

  • Ensure all installations meet applicable codes and standards (NEC, TIA/EIA-568, BICSI best practices) as well as client and manufacturer specifications. 

  • Manage testing, labeling, and certification of cabling and systems; support commissioning and punch-list closeout. 

  • Enforce jobsite safety protocols and participate in daily safety briefings, toolbox talks, and incident reporting. 

  • Track daily progress, manpower, and production reporting; communicate schedule risks and field issues promptly to the Superintendent. 

  • Support quality control inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed and documented. 

  • Mentor and train junior technicians and installers on best practices and company standards. 

Required Qualifications 

  • 4+ years of progressive low voltage field experience, including significant time in a lead, foreman, or supervisory role. 

  • Prior experience on data center, mission-critical, or other large-scale commercial construction projects strongly preferred. 

  • Demonstrated expertise across structured cabling (copper and fiber), fire alarm, access control, CCTV, and/or BMS systems. 

  • Strong working knowledge of NEC, TIA/EIA cabling standards, and industry best practices (BICSI knowledge a plus). 

  • Proven ability to read and interpret construction documents, low voltage drawings, and riser/schematic diagrams. 

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills; able to manage crews and coordinate across multiple trades and stakeholders. 

  • Proficiency with basic scheduling, reporting, and documentation tools. 

  • Current OSHA 10 certification required (OSHA 30 a plus). 

  • Ability to work on-site full-time in Haskell, TX, including standard construction hours and occasional overtime as project schedule requires. 

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish — candidates who are fluent in both languages are strongly preferred, as this role involves direct daily communication and coordination with a diverse field workforce. 

  • BICSI certification (RCDD, Installer, or Technician) or equivalent industry credentials. 

  • Experience with fiber optic termination and testing (OTDR, power meter/light source). 

  • Familiarity with building management systems (BMS), electronic power monitoring systems (EPMS), or data center infrastructure management (DCIM) platforms. 

  • Prior experience specifically within hyperscale or enterprise data center construction environments. 

Physical Requirements & Work Environment 

  • Ability to work on an active construction site, including standing, walking, climbing ladders, and working at heights for extended periods. 

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. 

  • Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and around active construction operations. 

  • Use of appropriate PPE required at all times on-site.
