About the Role
SitePro Solutions is seeking experienced Cable Technicians for a national travel structured cabling position. This is a great opportunity to build a long-term career with a dependable company that specializes in telecommunications and structured cabling. If you're looking to get your foot in the door in low voltage work — or take your existing cabling experience on the road — this role is for you.
What You'll Do
- Pull and route CAT5 or CAT6 cable in data center and new construction commercial environments
- Terminate phone jacks
- Dress and terminate distribution frames (66 or 110 blocks, patch panels)
- Test cable and troubleshoot networking issues
- Install support structures, including ladders, racks, and J-hooks
- At least one year of structured cabling experience as a cable technician or cable installer
- Ownership of basic cabling tools and PPE: punch downs, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, hard hat, boots, safety glasses, etc.
- Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA, or NEC standards is a plus
- Working knowledge of standard color codes
- Commitment to OSHA safety standards
- Willingness and ability to travel nationally for project assignments
